so a co-worker of mine brought in a bunch of fortune cookies. i opened mine and found this phrase. as i ate i pondered, is glory really reached by many different roads? i guess this really depends on what kind of glory your talking about.
as i thought about it, the whole statement just seems wrong. and i wasnt sure why. i mean i dont typically use the word "glory" on a daily basis, which is probably why it stuck in my head.
i dont know really where im going with this my brain is a little tired so im not going to make any kind of marvelous deep revelation. just something to think about.

im finding it difficult to control my frustration as of late. im not sure if stress is just building up or what. i just find myself getting really upset over small stuff. i think work might be part of the problem because the things that im frustrated with at work i feel that i cant do anything about.
there are just things that im going to have to get used to, like putting a lot of time into something and then it gets tossed, or doing designs that i dont actually like.
anyway...
its warming up here is st. louis is actually NICE outside, and there is not eminant danger that your eyes are going to freeze out of their sockets.
miriam and i sent off for our passports last week. hopefully they make it here on time, otherwise that would make our honeymoon a little less warm and beachy.
oh did anyone see the wifeswap last night? man those people from the farm were crazy, no seriously i think they might have needed to be commited. THEY ATE RAW MEAT AND SPOILED THINGS!!! plus they thought water dehydrates you!!!
so tell me that isnt insane.
well... back to work

I missed wifeswap last night, but from the preview I am more and more convinced that they have to be hiring actors. Surely there are not people who routinely eat raw meat in this country.

i would say that true glory is probably not reached by many different roads. But true glory, I mean the only glory that really matters - God's glory. But if you're talking about the glory of man, there probably are many different roads to get there. The problem is that man-centered glory is a false glory. It will only satisfy for a season, while the glory of God is worth all that we have to give.....I've never seen Wifeswap.
