3 days

till i get married and im still relatively calm. i thought that by now i would be a bumbling, shaking mess of a man. but hey just think there is still plenty of time to do that. last night miriam and i took a break from wedding stuff and went to outpost. one of our friends daughter was getting baptised and then we went and had food and drink at the bar area. the outpost meets at a bottle works building, it also has a resturant and bar. good food, good fun.

i have decided that im really tired of people asking "are you excited?"

because that in my opinion is a dumb question.

what am i going to say? "well not really anymore, i used to be???"

come on folks no more.

its my wedding. im marrying the love of my life of course im excited. do i always show it? maybe not outwardly. but yes im very excited. do people want me to do cartwheels?

im going to recommend that anyone getting married make a tshirt that says "im excited" on the front maybe then people wont ask.

chilly night

i have been leaving my windows and deck door open and shut off the air just to get fresh air into the apartment. its nbeen really refreshing especially at night. it rained last night. this made me have to mostly close the windows so i left them cracked about 4 inches. well over the course of the evening the temperature dropped considerably... around 20 degrees.

it was quite surprising waking up to a 55 F apartment today. it was freezing. i really noticed it getting out of the shower.

it was quite funny.

so the hughes group on the floor below us has a Wii. and they play it sometimes durring the day.

HOW COOL IS THAT!?

i want one soooo bad. the lady who owns it said shed be willing to share...but we dont get free time like that, well unless we stay late or something.

anyway..
i have a Wii on my regestry at TARGET *HINT HINT*
just if any kind soul would like to purchase that for my wedding.

great weekend

i had a great weekend and im pretty sure miriam feels the same way.

on saturday, we went for a picnic at forrest park. it was a gorgeous day and the perfect temperature. we then went to the zoo. niether one of us had been there in while, so things seemed different, we had to get a map. we got to see the newest baby elephant, "jade". very cute.












we also saw two tortoises who were, well, enjoying there day.


after going to the zoo we did some wedding stuff, and i grilled hotdoqs and brats. they were yummy.
sunday we went to church, ate lunch and did a little shopping i got 3 pairs of shorts, miriam bought some clothes. we bought more everyday dishes so that we could try and get a "good" set. i went through those last night. we looked at some air purifiers, but decided to wait since opening the windows and porch all day really made a difference hopefully we can get rid of the smoke smell that way. over all it was nice to get out and spend the day with miriam and just have us time. he hadnt done that for a while with all the wedding plans, and i really enjoyed it.

a long two days...

as you can read byt the title its been a long two days...

ive worked 18 hours and havent been sleeping well. the sleeping part is my fault

im tired and hungry and want to go home, but im waiting for my computer to update since i dont have internet at home.

over the weekend i saw a group of kids circled around while one counted the feet. they were playing some version of tag, an i wish that i couldve stopped and played without being looked at like a complete and utter wierdo. that scene alone brought back waves of memories of the thousands of tag games played by my friends and i growing up. its amazing to think how that game really never got old. we would play until we couldnt breath and rest and play some more. the person who invented tag should be given some sort of great honor. im sure there is probably hundreds of people that claim to have started the timeless game.

i think there should be a national tag day. where everyone can take a couple hours and just play tag.

well my computer is done updating and now im going home.
