i had a great weekend and im pretty sure miriam feels the same way.
on saturday, we went for a picnic at forrest park. it was a gorgeous day and the perfect temperature. we then went to the zoo. niether one of us had been there in while, so things seemed different, we had to get a map. we got to see the newest baby elephant, "jade". very cute. 
we also saw two tortoises who were, well, enjoying there day.
after going to the zoo we did some wedding stuff, and i grilled hotdoqs and brats. they were yummy.
sunday we went to church, ate lunch and did a little shopping i got 3 pairs of shorts, miriam bought some clothes. we bought more everyday dishes so that we could try and get a "good" set. i went through those last night. we looked at some air purifiers, but decided to wait since opening the windows and porch all day really made a difference hopefully we can get rid of the smoke smell that way. over all it was nice to get out and spend the day with miriam and just have us time. he hadnt done that for a while with all the wedding plans, and i really enjoyed it.

I had an awesome weekend with you and look forward to after the wedding when we have more time to have fun on the weekends with no wedding planning. That visit to the zoo tops them all. The elephant, the tiger, and the turtles were the best. We have to print some of those zoo pics for me to take to work. peace.

That thing that those turtles are doing looks totally uncomfortable. I'm not even sure how that would work with the shells being in the way. Man, I'm glad I'm not a turtle.
