so ive decided that i hate pet shops.
we went to one tonight at the mall. it was so sad.
seeing all those puppies, in those cages. they looked so pitiful.
it really made me feel horrible. i never want to go into one again. its not like i have never been in a pet store before, just not for a long time.
when we got nessie i picked her out of a bunch of he sibling in a nice warm barn filled with straw. they ran around and had fun, not in cages.
no cages...
just happy puppies...

i generally agree. i don't totally dislike pet shops but i do think there are better ways to sell animals rather than keeping them all in one stinky building to be taken care of by pet store employees who don't really care about them. The best way to buy a pet is to get one from it's natural environment... or you can pay to have one shipped from Texas as a Christmas present for your wife. That's what I did.
